GBO Free Forums is a new "Free Forums Hosting Service". All forums are FREE to setup and you are in total control of what happens on your board. At no time does GBO Free Forums monitor or moderate what you do on your forums as long as you abide by the GBO Free Forums T.O.S. It is your board and you are in control of the word censors and only you can ban / un-ban your users. We do not attempt to run your forums for you nor do we censor your forums or posts.

Advertising: GBO Free Forums uses Rotating Banner Ads to keep this service FREE. If you wish to have the banners removed from your forums or add your own you can do so buy purchasing "Forum Hosting" from us. The cost is minimal and the rewards can be huge in the long run. The GBO Free Forums ads are at the top and bottom of each page on your board. These ads will be content specific to your site and you will not have to worry about ads selling items not related to your forums and the discussions of your forums.

GBO Free Forums is a sister site to the very popular www.GraybeardOutdoors.com which started out as a small personal home page in 1997 and over the last 8 years has grown into one of the largest and most popular outdoors / hunting / shooting / fishing and related topics information resource on the web. And all of this was because we decided to add "forums" to our site. We started out on our free web space from our isp and moved on to shared hosting and then ending up with our own multiple dedicated servers. As a result of the success we have had we decided to offer free forums to others and maybe help them to propel there web site to the next level.

If you already have a web site and wish to add forums to your current content then you are at the right place. *Please be sure to read the GBOFREEFORUMS TOS to ensure that your sites contents do not violate our rules.

Q: What's needed to create an account at GBOFREEFORUMS?
A: All you need is a valid email address and a name for your forums. No web site is required.

Q: Will there be banner ads on my forums?
A: If you set up a "Free" forum account then "YES" there will be banners on your forums. If you set up a "Platinum" account there will be no banners placed on your forums by GBOFREEFORUMS but you do have the option of adding banners yourself.

Q: Can I get my own Domain name?
A: Yes if you want a domain i.e. www.myforums.com you can have it point to your forums. If you already have a domain and hosting account you will need to contact our support team for detailed info on forwarding the domain.

Q: Will I have control over my forums?
A: Yes you have total control of your own forums. You can create edit and delete forums, topics, posts and users as you wish. They are your forums and you have a complete admin control panel and full functionality of it.

Q: Will my members get spammed?
A: NO! GBOFREEFORUMS will never sell / distribute your information or your members information. The only time your members will get email from GBOFREEFORUMS is if there is going to be "scheduled server downtime" and even then it is on a case by case basis.

Q: Can I change the themes or styles on my forums?
A: We currently only offer a limited number of themes but are always adding new ones. You can request a theme be added using the Support Center.

Q: What are the content restrictions?
A: For a full list you need to read the GBOFREEFORUMS TOS, but the main ones are; No Sexual Content or images or links to such, No illegal content to include but not limited to drugs, pirated warez, porn, phishing, hacking, cracking, phreaking. Also no terrorism/terrorist sympathizing content.

Q: What is the cost and benefits of the "Platinum" Account?
A: The cost is $9.99 a month and the benefits are; No banner ads, more bandwidth, more storage space, Ability to add your own banners and more. See plan details for more.
